It’s worrying to see arXiv stop accepting reviews and opinions. If other preprint servers like @biorxivpreprint.bsky.social do the same, science will lose an important space for open discussion.
As a community we need to find better ways to deal with the downsides of AI.
arXiv will no longer accept review articles and position papers unless they have been accepted at a journal or a conference and complete successful peer review.

This is due to being overwhelmed by a hundreds of AI generated papers a month.

Yet another open submission process killed by LLMs.
