Even though the weapon/item droprates & resources are tuned with a more modern sensibility than other games in the SH series, or even other survival horror games, the pacing of “f” has this uncanny PS2-ass feel to it that’s just comforting to play. The world building is rad too—Ryukishi07 killed it.

16.) Silent Hill f

I wasn’t expecting this game to seep its way under my skin (intentional pun) but man does this new entry do an incredible job of being a return to form for Silent Hill, yet something that’s new/different.

The combat & puzzles might be a little clunky, but they’re also nostalgic?

Spent the day trying out a new hiking trail AND a new place to chow down afterwards—a few mishaps that may have caused some injuries, but other than that, it was another solid day in Pacifica with my favorites!

Almost missed #RandomGameSaturday (I have a pretty good reason why that I’ll share in a bit!) Luckily, we got home early, & well, I’ve been feeling a certain way, so yeah—AEW Fight Forever is my pick this week.

This game did not get its flowers, & it really is one of the most fun puroresu jams out!

Yes but the hitch is that a LOT of the games only work in PAL mode, so you’ll need a multisync monitor to get mileage out of it! I also recommend the honeybee competition controller
