In 2025 Trump defunded PEPFAR & R.F.K Jr research on mRNA vaccines
I suspect HIV denialism is not so much remembered now, but there were lots of parallels with Covid. One difference is of course social media - back then the challenge was just dealing with eg Andrew Neil and the Sunday Times. (Neil has never been called to account.)
