Understanding the core mechanics of capitalism matters. Once people see how it pits capital against workers, pensioners, and the disabled, they’ll realise why the middle class and homeowners are next. Real relief comes from rebalancing the system—not endless austerity or pressure on ordinary people.

Belief in a new system isn’t naïve—it’s historical. From 1945–73 we proved a fairer version of capitalism could exist, driven by shared wealth and social democracy. That era shows what’s possible again if people believe and act for change. And we can build on that system towards a better one.
