i'm rereading parts of "my flowers turn to you" right now and i don't think anyone ever noticed that this orange truck is a twilight reference—

The sound of rain is quiet in the apartment, a comfortable background noise that blends into the softness of the piano somewhere in the background. It's the same playlist Yoongi turns on every single time there's rain outside, and this morning is no different. Jeongguk has gotten so used to it by now that it merely feels like a part of their routine, his head pillowed on Yoongi's soft thighs.

One of Yoongi's hands is in his hair, playing with the dark strands absent-mindedly. The other one is holding his phone in his hand, just a few inches above Jeongguk's face. There's a pinkness to it that catches Jeongguk's attention whenever he looks at it, the skin there stretched softly over the juts of Yoongi's bones.

All the fairy lights they have turned on cast an almost magical glow onto Yoongi's hands, and Jeongguk is glad that they decided to leave the curtains drawn this morning instead of letting the muted sun shine through the windows. It makes Jeongguk feel hazy in a way, comfortably wrapped in his little cocoon where only him and Yoongi exist. Him and Yoongi, and Yoongi's pretty and pink knuckles. It makes something in Jeongguk's jaw ache, his teeth digging into the inside of his bottom lip.

He gets like this sometimes. Achy and weighed down, his mouth feeling too big and wrong without something to softly nibble on. It's a feeling Jeongguk couldn't properly describe even if he wanted to, but with Yoongi, Jeongguk thinks there isn't really the need to do that anyway. With Yoongi, Jeongguk knows, there isn't really the need to do anything at all. With Yoongi, Jeongguk is. And right now, with Yoongi, Jeongguk wants.

"Hyung."

Jeongguk's voice is nothing but a soft murmur, barely audible over the rain and the piano playlist connected to the speakers installed around the apartment. Yoongi hears Jeongguk anyway, humming as his thumb rubs circles just next to Jeongguk's ear, close to his jaw.

"Hyung," Jeongguk repeats, his tongue loose and dipped into unfiltered honesty. "Hyung, bite."

Yoongi makes a questioning noise at the back of his throat, his hand lowering onto Jeongguk's chest. Jeongguk looks at Yoongi's soft pink knuckles against his black shirt, the contrast making them even more beautiful. "Bite as in hungry?"

"bitey bite" 4/4

Slowly, he lets go of Yoongi's thumb between his teeth, breathing a tender kiss against the skin there. Then, as gently as possible, he moves up Yoongi's body until he can put both his legs next to Yoongi's, softly caging Yoongi's hips between his knees. His mouth instinctively latches onto Yoongi's collarbone then, one of his hands resting on Yoongi's waist while the other one cradles his face.

Yoongi sighs against Jeongguk's ear, a small sound of contentment. It eases the heaviness in Jeongguk's jaw, and he can't help but bite down onto Yoongi's collarbone, moving the soft skin there between his teeth slowly, carefully. It might be his favourite spot so far along with Yoongi's wrist, the closeness of it making it feel intimate and vulnerable in a way that Jeongguk can't put into words. His mind is void of thoughts right now anyway, the only thing loud enough in it a repetition of bite bite bite.

The fact that Yoongi indulges him so easily and willingly, though, warms Jeongguk's heart so incredibly that he can't help but lick over the bite mark, pressing a kiss against the skin there before putting it right back between his teeth. Yoongi breathes out loudly again, his breath hot against Jeongguk's ear.

Slowly, Jeongguk detaches from the spot, moving his mouth to Yoongi's jaw instead, and then, just because it looks so soft and pink and inviting, he takes the supple skin of Yoongi's cheek between his teeth, his bite tender tender tender.

It makes Yoongi's nose scrunch, an involuntary yet endearing reaction. Jeongguk's lips spread into a smile, and playfully, he bites the bridge of Yoongi's nose, pecking the spot afterwards immediately. Yoongi's thumb strokes against the side of Jeongguk's neck as he laughs fondly, and they lean into each other at the same time, locking their lips together in a gentle kiss.

When they separate, Jeongguk presses another peck against Yoongi's cheek before going back down to his collarbone, a satisfied sigh leaving him as soon as his teeth are wrapped around the warm skin there. Yoongi hums quietly, affirmative and soft. Jeongguk closes his eyes and allows himself to bask in this moment for a little longer.

Soon enough, though, the soft bites he gets from there aren't enough anymore, and Jeongguk lets Yoongi's hand go, turning onto his side to admire Yoongi's knees instead. They're even pinker than his knuckles and wrist, soft and bony in a way that makes Jeongguk's jaw ache with the urge to put his teeth onto them.

He's gentle when he runs a finger over Yoongi's right knee, rubbing small circles into a dip there. It's both soft and hard underneath his touch, an almost perfect mixture of what Jeongguk seeks.

Yoongi strokes over the back of Jeongguk's head, a silent permission for him to go ahead. Jeongguk doesn't even waste a second before he adjusts his position, opening his mouth to finally pull the skin there between his teeth. It tastes slightly different than the skin on Yoongi's hand, more soft and human. Jeongguk closes his eyes as he puts his teeth around more of Yoongi's knee, feeling the hardness of his bones against them. He lets his teeth rest like that for a moment, basking in the weak strain it puts on his jaw. It's a nice feeling, one he couldn't find the words to describe in a million years, and he only loosens his hold when he fears he's leaving too strong of a mark.

Just like Yoongi's wrist, his knee is red and wet too when Jeongguk separates from him, the marks of his teeth forming a full circle. Jeongguk strokes over the skin there with his pointer finger, deciding to latch his teeth onto the softness of Yoongi's thigh instead, just underneath the hem of his shorts.

Unlike before, it's almost just skin and muscles under his lips now, no bone so close to the surface that there's anything hard between Jeongguk's teeth. It satisfies the ache inside him in a different way, makes him nibble his way up Yoongi's thigh until he almost reaches the elegant jut of his hip, the skin there warm warm warm.

For a split second, Jeongguk considers biting into the bone there, too, leaving a mark on Yoongi that he will feel for days even if he can't see it. Instead, however, he decides to move back to Yoongi's hands, pulling the side of his thumb into his mouth. It's only then that he finally looks at Yoongi again, his breath hitching in his throat when he sees the look in Yoongi's eyes.

It's full of fondness and warmth, a gentle smile grazing his lips. Something in Jeongguk aches at the sight of it.

"Hyung" Jeongguk says again, but this time, it comes out as a small whine. He can feel his cheeks heat up with unwanted shyness, his tongue flicking over his lips in a nervous habit. "Your hands. Wanna--"

"Oh," Yoongi breathes out. For a moment, he just stares down at his fingers, seemingly processing Jeongguk's words or trying to figure out how he feels about them, Jeongguk isn't sure. Then, without uttering another word, Yoongi holds his hand up above Jeongguk's face, their eyes meeting.

A shaky breath leaves Jeongguk's lips, and hesitantly, he lifts his own hand up to wrap his fingers around Yoongi's wrist, tugging it down towards his mouth. He's gentle when he puts his teeth around one of Yoongi's knuckles, watching Yoongi's face closely for his reactions.

His features don't change much, only a hint of encouragement mixing into them. Jeongguk takes it gladly, putting a bit more pressure onto Yoongi's knuckle. It's hard between his teeth, Yoongi's skin warm against his lips. Jeongguk sighs against it in contentment.

For a brief moment, he closes his eyes, nibbling on the knuckle softly, quietly. When he opens his eyes again, they fall onto his own wrist above Yoongi's hand, appearing darker in contrast to Yoongi's lighter skin. His wrist must be just as pink as his knuckles, Jeongguk thinks, bony and thin, so delicate and pretty. His mouth waters just at the thought of it, and Jeongguk loosens his jaw almost in a trance, slowly moving Yoongi's hand up his face so that he can put his teeth onto Yoongi's wrist instead.

It's even better than his knuckle, offering Jeongguk more space to bite and nibble on. He does so softly and rhythmically, allowing himself to apply more pressure every now and then. It satisfies the ache he felt in his jaw slightly, his teeth not feeling quite as heavy anymore as before. He bites down harder again, moving the skin on Yoongi's wrist between his teeth for a moment before he releases it, letting his tongue swipe over the spot to soothe it.

It's red and wet now, the imprint of Jeongguk's teeth visible on Yoongi's body. It makes something inside of Jeongguk tingle, his mouth latching onto the thin skin between Yoongi's thumb and pointer finger. The spot is a delicate one, and Jeongguk makes sure his nibbles are weak and gentle, not wanting to cause Yoongi any harm.
