Of course this big name entertainment company is contributing to the biggest threat to the industry’s future.
Disney is reportedly investing $1 BILLION in OpenAI, licensing over 200 of their iconic characters for ChatGPT & Sora.

We will be watching. No questions asked.

• Directed ‘Wall-E’ and ‘Finding Nemo’ director Andrew Stanton.

• Follows 3 storylines, from past, present & future, that span thousands of years and represent the circle of life.

Thank goodness.
Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos now says they will keep Warner Bros’ theatrical model largely the same once they buy the studio.

“When this deal closes, we are in [the theatrical] business, and we’re going to do it… We didn’t buy this company to destroy that value”

Damn it.
Netflix teases that Warner Bros’ theatrical release windows will evolve to become shorter

“My pushback has been mostly in the fact of the long exclusive windows, which we don’t really think are that consumer friendly,” says Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos.

To be honest, the success of KPop Demon Hunters has me wondering if any of that film’s fanbase has seen Wish Dragon, the other film Chris Appelhans did. In my review of the former, I argued that the latter was just a warm-up for him.

This being announced right after I started the franchise is a very interesting coincidence.
A new ‘MEN IN BLACK’ film is in the works.

Will Smith is being eyed to return with his character written into the script in the hope that he signs on

Honestly speaking, this may be the least disastrous option. I'd rather them over Paramount and Comcast (the latter already has Universal; why do they need another studio?).
Netflix has made the highest bid to buy Warner Bros so far.

If it doesn’t work on a writing level, The Angry Birds Movie does have some fun animation and a cool Heitor Pereira score. The second film is better.
Defend a terrible film by picking something from it that saves it.

If they split the film adaptation of Hamilton into two movies like Wicked, I have ideas for what the titles should be:
Hamilton: My Shot
Hamilton: One Last Time

OPINION: One reason it bothers me when a faith-based trailer like I Can Only Imagine 2 plays before a family film like Zootopia 2 is because the way I see it, a kid would watch that faith film and be bored out of their mind.
