looking at the weather forecast it's looking like i'm going to be hanging xmas lights in the rain.... maybe i'll get lucky and manage to get it in between downpours... i should check the lights now and see if any bulbs need to be replaced etc. before i hang them up.

installed a refurbished and updated instrument cluster on my old Volvo this evening. just to feel something. the one that was original to the car had been (poorly) repaired 2x and it finally shit the bed. took it for a test drive and it works perfect. speedo matches the speed on the GPS on my phone.
