this piece focuses on my OC named Chiyo, an octarian who struggled with herself before coming to the surface. in Splatsville, she met lots of kind people, including her turf team that she now calls her family--Kenji, Lazlo, and Tony. 💚

the scene transitions into a brighter area, the Splatoon 3 Grand Fest desert venue. Chiyo now looks more fem, with longer tentacles on her head. she's being led to the right side of the page by another inkling, a male by the name of Lazlo. both of their expressions are happy and excited. there are two memories in the space above Chiyo and Lazlo. one memory depicts Chiyo being gently spoken to by another male inkling by the name of Kenji. Chiyo's tentacles are short but messier than they used to be. the other memory shows Chiyo's tentacles being pulled into a ponytail by a pair of pale hands; her tentacles are longer now and she looks relaxed.

the right edge of the illustration is adorned by a shed of light and confetti floating towards Lazlo and Chiyo, signaling that Chiyo's new future is bright, and showing that she has plenty of fun and happiness to look forward to.
