Pauline was a later addiction to the game. in an interview they specified that once the composer made a score specifically for the Zebra transformation (once seeing a concept art of it) they decided to add lyrics to certain osts.
The only Mario character famous for singing is Pauline.

Some visual references are too much Zelda like and less DK, the free falling, rhe first layer being basically the first area of totk, some bosses (some latter ones as well)...I'm assuming this will become more and more the norm in future Nintendo games...

Also another thing I'm not really down with is the fact that it takes too much tropes from totk (which is an amazing game) BUT I wish they'd keep the franchises more unique in their own way...

All in all I felt she's s bit out of place and if her presence is really justified by that "concept art of the zebra that led to music, that led to add a character that sings", then to me it's just forced.
I'd much prefer to have Diddy as a companion or a completely new character or nobody at all...

Found it in an old folder, I was trying to go out of my comfort zone with some good ol' photobashing for a personal project.
I was mostly inspired by Metroid Dread concept arts, for this creepy human/whale hybrid boss fight.

Always when I was working in Spain, I got the chance to work on a sequel of Dragon City.
Specifically I was involved in the structuring of the artistic direction and the characters, along with other amazing artists.

Don't Think I've ever shared some of these before, but I worked on a mobile game way back in 2019 and 2020 called Rageball. it was really cute and fun, too bad it never passed to full production.
