Then again, it’s a feature film, not a documentary—entertainment first, accuracy second.
As a former Rolleiflex owner (how I wish I’d kept mine!), I couldn’t help noticing that—unlike me—Winslet’s character didn’t wander around with a battered old lens hood hanging off the front. Aaargh—flare!

I finally watched the film about Lee Miller yesterday. Personally, I didn’t feel it lived up to the hype, though Kate Winslet played the role convincingly. Too many parts of Miller’s life were either glossed over or rushed through as if the filmmakers were working through a checklist.

WW2 Arnhem veterans talking to me at Eden Camp, Yorkshire.
That's a photo one of them is showing me- taken by the Germans when he was shot in the arm then captured.
Marvellous chaps, one wrote to me and said it was a privilege to meet me! Other way round I thought.

Still not up to 100 percent yet after a week in hospital following a DKA attack which came out of the blue.

It's only when you have to rely on the NHS that you realise how bad it's become in third-world Britain.
With my symptoms, I'd have thought a week for my blood test then 2 more to check results is too long.
I've worked for a German firm who make machines for Africa which can do it in a day.

Christmas & Boxing Day at daughter's lovely old Bedfordshire pub, then studio shots today.
Afraid I couldn't be arsed to take the studio set up shot before we ripped it apart ;-(
But rest assured it was a quality product ;-)

I quite like the mellow taste of a teaspoon Nouri Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder in Oatly barista,(heated), sieved plus a teaspoon of acacia honey.
The Yerba Mate is holly leaves- very festive!
