a screenshot of a discord message that reads "not really directly pointed at anyone in this discussion, but wanted to say that it’s also always important to never use other fan projects to put down any other, as well. i’ve been seeing it in a few scattered places, but i ask that no one ever use grindworks as the standard for how fast projects should move. it’s the same way i felt a few years ago when i’d always see “clash releases updates so fast, why doesn’t ttr move at that speed?” pitting two passion projects against each other like that is only gonna make both teams feel awkward and bad.

doesn’t matter what game or project we’re talking about. clear coasts, gags and gadgets, event horizon, hostile takeover, etc. if any of those take multiple more years to come out it’s fine, and not a problem of any team being “lazy”. there will absolutely be a time where grindworks development slows down or even stops entirely. and i wouldn’t want to be called lazy for prioritizing my own life and responsibilities over my hobby. we can start calling toontown projects lazy for not updating once disney comes out and officially endorses the monetization of toontown’s fan projects, leading to the return of the membership. until then, you gotta be grateful for the free work being put in."

to non Brazilians: this is what I try to articulate when I say you shouldn't just compare the prices of stuff on a vacuum, you also need to consider how much people are earning

it is really hard being a Nintendo fan in Brazil for a reason

Two new amiibo have been announced for Kirby Air Riders: Kirby on a Warp Star, and Bandee on the Winged Star!

They'll function as trainable riders in-game, just like how amiibo work in Smash!

They can also swap vehicles, which is a new concept for amiibo! They'll release the same day as the game.

did you know that Kirby very rarely does his signature Kirby Dance after defeating a final boss? and sometimes when he does, well, it doesn't end well.

moral of the story: never do the Kirby Dance after defeating the final boss, it's a Kirby game, it's never that simple
