I noticed some of those dodgy VIP lane PPE contracts are being investigated are the MP's who nominated them being investigated to see if they received any renumeration and if so that they also are financially sanctioned.

This is not a good look if students can't use AI neither should their teachers. Especially if the students original work is being feed in the the AI model without their consent.

This sucks; what are we even doing?
Uofm sub Reddit post about a professor using AI to grade a paper "I spent upwards of 40 hours writing a paper for a course, and my professor gave me pages and pages of AI-generated feedback, complete with section headings, bold text, and language addressing her as the grader (she tried to edit some of this out). I have strong ethical oppositions to AI, and I do everything I can to avoid giving it my art or writing. It’s incredibly frustrating to find out that I just put 40 hours of stress and original effort into training ChatGPT on my writing style. Not to mention that I was marked down for things that a human grader never would have even noticed. I really want to bring this up with her in office hours, but I’m worried that I’m going to be penalized for it on future assignments. The AI gave me a good grade, so it’s probably safer for my GPA if I ignore it, but I’m just so angry. How can professors ask us not to use AI to write our papers if they just use AI to grade them? I understand that they don’t have a lot of time, but I’m not asking for detailed feedback. I just want my work to be graded by a human."

Finally, there is the suggestion from Farage that this was somehow normal 1970s banter that is being wrongly reinterpreted today to fit a contemporary narrative. The cruelty of Farage’s words transcended typical schoolkid banter even back then in the 1970s. Racist attacks are becoming normalised once again in the UK, fuelled by the rise of populism and the far right across the world, and, of course, the anti-immigration agenda. Given Reform UK’s policies, it is even more pressing that questions about Farage’s own “banter” and “misspeaking” are raised. I’d like to know why he has never shown the slightest contrition for the deep offence these allegations caused me and many others. And I’d like to know if what I view as his early racist mindset has truly changed with the passing of time. Because when I hear Mr Farage talking about rounding up and deporting hundreds of thousands of human beings, and threatening those with leave to remain or settled status, I cannot help but think of the schoolboy sidling up to me and telling me that “Hitler was right”.
