Quentin Grimes said he doesn’t have any ill will for the Sixers organization for refusing to meet his contract request.

"Not at all..." Grimes said. "Hopefully, I’ll be able to be back here longer. I wanted to be back here on a longer-term deal."

Watford is getting some individual shooting work in after practice, and has had imaging done which revealed no structural damage, Sixers say.

Some other updates: Joel Embiid practiced today, and had increased his activity up to 5-on-5 work. Paul George is still doing individual work, and expects to be integrated into team activities in coming days. Trendon Watford (hamstring) will not play in Friday’s preseason game.
