FINAL: Magic 144, Sixers 103. Sixers are shorthanded, but that was a brutal, 2024-25-esque performance.

Up next: Friday at Brooklyn. Happy Thanksgiving, y'all.

Or better yet, can one of these timeouts be rounding up anybody named Kyle who wants to play the final 3:59?
Sections of fans are chanting "We want Kyle!" in the final minutes of this one. Didn't realize @kyleneubeck.bsky.social had so many fans.

As @ginamizell.bsky.social points out, this is Kyle's David Roddy moment
With five minutes left, the Sixers trail 135-91. The remaining fans are chanting "WE WANT KYLE."

Magic 121, Sixers 83 at the end of the third. That is all.
November 26, 2025 at 3:05 AM
We have a Johni Broome sighting, with the Sixers trailing 106(!!!)-67 at the 5:07 mark of the third.
November 26, 2025 at 2:54 AM
I mean he attacked a close-out in the first half so it's probably officially time to retire this bit.
Andre Drummond corner 3?!

And now the first half is finally over. Sixers trail 86(!) -60. Jared McCain has 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting. Nothing else going right for the Sixers on either end. Magic have 24 points off turnovers, 17 fastbreak points, and 15 second-chance points. Worst performance of the season, by far.

And as a female human who once pulled her hip flexor really, really badly as a teenage competitive dancer, I can only imagine what that might feel like for a male human.
Oof. Now Trendon Watford has collapsed to the floor with what looks like a groin/hip flexor area injury. Did not look like he got hit there, which honestly might be worse if it's pulled, etc.

76ers fixing their 3rd quarter woes by being awfuler in the 2nd quarter is a bold move
The Sixers have given up 30 points in the last 6:28. Anthony Black suddenly has 20 points in 11 minutes.

Boos are out in Philly -- which Jalen Suggs is egging on -- as the Sixers call timeout down 64-47. Magic have 15 second-chance points, 9 fastbreak points, and 14 points off 7 Sixers turnovers.
November 26, 2025 at 2:03 AM
This apparently Black's career-high, per some intrepid research by esteemed beat colleague Tony Jones.
Make that 23 points after he's left open for another three-ball.
November 26, 2025 at 2:01 AM
That athletic alley-oop finish was crazy, but Black is already up to 20 points in 11 minute off the bench.
Yo, Anthony Black.
November 26, 2025 at 1:58 AM
Yeesh, this has been a rough start to the second. Magic out to a quick 19-8 run to seize a 54-43 lead. Beating the Sixers down the floor. Blasting them on the glass. Hitting open shots. All of the above.

No Jabari Walker so far for the Sixers. Drummond is back in at center to start the second quarter.

Sixers 35, Magic 35 at the end of the first after Tyus Jones hits a three-pointer just before the buzzer. Balanced scoring for the Sixers: Edwards with 9, Watford with 8, Maxey and McCain both with 7. Sixers are shooting 11-of-19 from the floor, but Magic have 9 second-chance points.
November 26, 2025 at 1:47 AM
And right on cue, he buries his first three-point attempt.
Jared McCain and Trendon Watford are the first Sixers off the bench tonight. McCain will aim to build on his best performance since his knee/thumb surgeries.
Jared McCain has been tasked with celebrating “small wins” — walking, playing in an NBA game, making a shot — during this lengthy recovery following knee and thumb surgeries.

But Sunday he looked more like himself, and “felt really good.”

Jared McCain is gaining more confidence on the court since his return for the Sixers
McCain, who missed nearly 11 months following knee and thumb surgeries, finished with a season-high 15 points and three assists in 26 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Miami Heat.
