Been in Gatineau for a year & I'm still not completely unpacked). It's not out of procrastination, moreover superstition. Every place I've lived that completely unpacked, I've ended moving within 6 mons before getting used to the new area (even w/3 Yr posting)

One thing I miss about living in #Halifax is that there were higher parts of the city to look down across the landscape, i.e., being on top of #CitadelHill overlooking #HalifaxHarbour. So far, being in #Gatineau, I haven't found a place to do the same.

I'm waiting for 2 of my 5 provincial health cards & I ordered them as soon as I moved to #Gatineau back this past August (& I have to take my youngest son to see a doctor for a checkup soon). Here's hoping Canada Post accepts their contracts negotiations *sighs*

I made a new of good friends from LJ in 23 years. Sadly, some have passed on, one died of covid back in March '22 and LJ friend passed away 2014 from the dreaded C. But the vast majority migrated to FB and some are now here.
