I keep seeing far too many "cute" pet rats that are obese. Pets are not cute when they are obese. It's unhealthy and can drastically affect lifespan. Stop feeding into the chonky = cute lie and pay attention to your pet.

There are so many varieties of rats, some colours can appear similar if you don't see them often. Here's an example of what a UK mink looks like compared to Lavender.

Hopefully this weekend I find out what variety this boy is. Not super obvious in the pic but he has ruby eyes. I'm quite new to breeding blue based rats so I'm keen to find out from some other ratty breeder friends what he is.

Anise has had her second and final litter, a nice number of 6. I'm very hopeful for this litter and it could really help build one of my lines.

I don't recommend moving house. What a stress and financial black hole, especially when you have to move 50 rats and break 2 phones too. I need a break.
