Nurse, Grandad, and Trekkie (I do like Star Wars too, but it's not quite as good). I like being in my garden, country walks with my dogs, as well as being on the couch in front of the fire with my wife. From Lancashire, UK

Went out for a walk today with the little dog. One of my favourite places to be. Not as nice as it used to be, as some 4x4's and motocross' have ripped up a lot of the paths. Saw a kestrel, crows, magpies, and pheasants today, but no deers. Walked for an hour before seeing another person.
I'm not sure what's going on because all my dahlias are throwing out new flowers. I was about to start getting them all put to somewhere safe for the winter, but they're telling me it's not bedtime yet
He was born in 82? Christ, he must have had a had paper round
Tonight's Theatre visit is to see #DeadRingers at #TheLowry. My son has come with me tonight, so I'm hoping there's plenty of impressions my 18yo will recognise.
My wife picked these up last week. Bloody gorgeous.

It’s shameful & shocking that given what I've gone through & how huge the campaign to bring me home was, & the Government acknowledge the injustice of my experience, still they do not recognise what's going on at home.

Relistening to old episodes of the Curious Cases of Rutherford and Fry. @adamrutherford.bsky.social mentioned Wound Man, a 14/15th century drawing. Went to have a look online and found that DC have recently made Wound Man a Villain. Where you aware of this Adam? villains.fandom.com/wiki/Wound_Man

I came here to say that...., but adding a blob of sweet chilli sauce too takes it to another level
There are some really nice famous people out there on SM, some not.
When I first joined Twitter I didn't quite know how it worked. @'d a famous boxer, instead of #, saying I thought he looked fat and was surprised he'd just won the fight. Reply came back from him threatening to come and punch me 😂
How did you get to meet Holly?
I don't think she ever listened to the album. I think it was just before her time, though she knows the singles (who doesn't). I loved the album on release and frequently still visit it.
I'd never call her an idiot though 😊 we both have such eclectic tastes and she introduced me to some great music
Whenever I saw him being interviewed he struck me as a nice guy. I wanted to go and see him earlier this year for the 40th anniversary of WTTPD, but wife said no.
I wanted to add Hugh Laurie's album Let Them Talk earlier, but ran out of space, if you're looking for something different to listen to?
Just done 3 night shifts. I hate working nights. Day wasted before first shift trying to get in some extra sleep. 2 days of poor broken sleep and feeling exhausted. Then another day wasted trying to get out of nights cycle, but CBA doing anything as too tired but wanting to be able to sleep tonight.
I don't have a "best album" as it all depends on my mood. I much prefer Meddle over DSOTM though.
Other fave albums;
Depeche Mode - Songs of Faith and Devotion
DLR - Eat em and Smile
Beatles - Revolver
The Orb - Live 93
Ozzy - Ordinary Man
Portishead - Dummy
Frankie - Welcome to the Pleasure Dome
Ah, but did you use real shepherds?
Uhura from the "Mirror Mirror" episode?
That's New Brighton! I said you were in Birkenhead this morning. I claim my £5
Have you got any photos of Upholland / Up Holland in Lancashire?
We had to tie the neck straps together at the back of our aprons as they weren't made properly.
Tonight's Musical Theatre is The Book of Mormon
I dont recall my kids schools having libraries in. In primary school, each classroom had a selection of books, for their age range, for them to read. We did have an easily accessible village library, but that was shut by the Tories. People where told to go to the town centre to get books
I like Octopuses Garden on the Love album. I also like Maxwells Silver Hammer 😔
It would explain all the middle lane hoggers - artists on the inside lane
