Minthara is such a complex character. She's almost comically evil sometimes, but when you dig a bit you realize that there's so much more depth to her, and behind that ruthless demeanor she's easily the most loyal companion and is willing to put her evil ways aside so she can repay her debt to you

Kieran from the Pokémon SV DLC is my favorite rival in the series, he goes through a lot of character development and is just a likeable character in general, in addition to having a really cool design
