Lansdowne Church in Glasgow’s West End – now Websters – is full of history, memory and craft: stained glass by Alf Webster, a WWI plaster frieze by Evelyn Beale, and generations of memory.

New funding from us and @HeritageFundUK is ensuring these treasures are preserved.

🏢 Also known as the College of Building and Printing, the Category B-listed building was designed by Wyllie, Shanks and Underwood, and completed in 1964. Influenced by Le Corbusier’s Unité d’habitation housing block in Marseille, the Tower remains one of Glasgow’s most famous Modernist buildings.
