The Times story today on "Who Should Be Mayor of New York City" shows overwhelming support among their opionators for ZM...and then begins the article with 9 paragraphs on "Mamdani Skepticism."

The Times, as an institution, has done all they could to prevent a Mamdani Mayoralty.

Mamdani is going to win here by between 15 & 20%. Nevertheless, this makes me want to vote ten times. Cuomo, oligarchs, Fox and the NY Post (with an assist from the Times) are going all out to try and prevent the inevitable.

I’ve been working a riff on this for a while now: in the most blow-out elections, like 60/40, 4 out of 10 people (or 2/5 for us math nerds) stand up and say “fuck, no”. That’s a lot of fighters and in the toughest places to stand up.
