The reason married men collapse is because marriage is work. It's often work that married men are not prepared to do, and with women able to do for themselves they don't need us. Having one of us is no longer required equipment to survive, so we need to step up and be real people with real skills.

Or that men are conditioned to treat seeking mental health care like it is some kind of attack and to be avoided like the plague. It's almost like the world is a complex place.

Women will be diagnosed with depression and anxiety more often, that is true. I wonder if that has anything to do with how women are expected to be silent and just accept any mistreatment and therefore being seen as assertive or upset is considered an anomaly that needs to be fixed.

If women having an option besides you makes finding a partner unobtainable doesn't that say more about you then it does the women you are pursuing?

People would tell me things like this when I was my grandfather's care giver during his brain tumor and it made me want to throw them like lawn darts. Still does actually.

I am making tzimmes, which is essentially roast veggies in honey. I just replace the butter with margarine but I am keeping the honey. I know it is not technically vegan, and if you want to swap it you can use maple syrup.

I can't afford insurance from work but it meets ACA requirements so if I do the ACA insurance I have to pay back the tax credits. So either way I am out nearly $400 a month for insurance with a nearly 2k deductible. It is like not having insurance and paying for the privilege.

So many issues. B2 pilots aren't the people who choose targets, they also don't need to have children right at the target to cause damage to them. This is exhausting.

Can confirm. I have had drinks with female friends,.have flirted with female friends, and have hung out with my female friends while they wear tiny outfits and shirt skirts. Have never in my life had a desire to sa any of them. Maybe rapists are just terrible people who suck.

This was something I went in depth with back in college where I did a socio-linguistic deep dive of fantasy literature where I discussed length of descriptions of female characters vs male characters. I won't get too much in depth, but something to look at is length of descriptions and specificity.

There have been a couple romance anime I have watched where a normal dude has fallen for, "monster," women but that is usually just, "oh look how the fetish bait woman has scales, oh how monstrous!" I want full on spider with normal dude husband who makes fly cupcakes with the spiderling babies.

Children and a wife, just things to be owned and status symbols to show how manly he is. Things he, "protects," not out of devotion, but to hoard them and hoard his status. It makes me ill.

Good Lord, that isn't a red ocean, it is a collection of the reddest and most alarm red flags I have ever seen. The dorky masculine larping, the romanticization of a terrible time in history, the weird uncanny valley, good Godfrey it is blinding!
