So last month I decided since it was black history month I’d start reading more books with a black lead character(s)… so I’m making a thread.. I’ll be updating it the whole year … #books #reading

I’m rewatching the last kingdom and they really made a great choice in casting David Dawson as Alfred, he was my favorite character in this show.. show really wasn’t the same with out him

It’s very telling that most of the low scores for this book is from white and nonblack pocs, and majority of the reviews rated it low cause of the politics and racism in the story… smh
