Wow! Thank you for this. I did not know this was a legal requirement. I do wonder, however, if this applies to state officers when a federal officer is abusing his/her authority?

When ICE agents use excessive force and flout state laws, why are they not being arrested on the spot? Why are the state and cities not telling their troopers and police to watch what is happening and intervene when necessary to protect their citizens.

He has built a very large private army under the cover of immigration enforcement who are committing crimes against both illegals and citizens without any fear of being held to account. So fear is not irrational.

The Constitution means what the Supreme Court says it means just like the Umpires decide what is a ball or a strike. If the umps are honest and not bribed then the game is fair, but if they are dishonorable bought minions of the home team, it is not. In fact it is not even baseball anymore.

Treat them like our army, not his. And yes, I know about not following unconstitutional orders being their duty, but let's face it, few of them are lawyers and the risks/costs of disobedience are great. So let's treat them like friends until they aren't. Do not make them feel surrounded.

I think that while we fight the imposition of troops on our cities, and should use every legal means at our disposal to stop it, at the same time the troops themselves should be greeted with Bundt Cakes and cookies,because so far at least, they are like us caught in the middle.

This is a lie. The Wyden investigation found the transfers but never mentioned Trump. I'm not a fan, but no reason to lie about this, there is enought out there without it. (See Snopes)

So they quote ST. Paul and ignore John the Baptist, Jesus, James and yes even Paul (acts 26 where he explains the purpose of his teachings) By ignoring all of this they can feel good about themselves without the very difficult process of changing. (And it is difficult)

It stems from a complete misunderstanding of the New Testament which begins with a call to repentance (metanoia). Too many people think that faith alone is salvation without reflecting on what they are being saved from (Worldly values, prejudices, lack of compassion, judgemental-ism, etc)

Her post was not inaccurate about what a certain group of religious fanatics believe. ( I won't call them Christians). Of course it did not warrant suspension. Meanwhile, beware of any religious group trying to help God achieve some goal. Lots of crap has happened under that banner.
