And it's not even about protecting children as they'd like to believe. If it were, they'd be just as outraged over his attacks on SNAP, Medicaid, education, etc. All promises he made that he's also broken that will directly hurt millions of children. I know. Logic doesn't apply to his base.

The idiocy of his base for not seeing this same kind of betrayal straight along is the confounding part. He’s done same thing with so many other things, also with criminal complicity. It didn’t anger his base until it was about pedophilia, but other cruelty even against them was OK.

Exactly. You have to develop the skill before using any shortcut. Reminds me of a debate topic about when calculators should be allowed in schools. My position was that after a student masters the skills by hand, then they could use a calculator to speed up calculations.
