Three months ago, Trump launches a $15 billion lawsuit against the New York Times, claiming it defamed him by reporting on his birthday card to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. He claims the signature on the card isn't his, even though it's an exact match.

Nine months ago, Trump deports 261 alleged members of the Tren de Aragua and MS-13 gangs to El Salvador despite a court order blocking such removals. The White House contends that the deportees had already left U.S. soil by the time the court order was signed; this was later found to be a lie.

Three months ago, Trump announced he was sending the National Guard to Memphis. This is a week after he threatened to send them to Chicago, but backed down when the Illinois governor pushed back. Tennessee governor Bill Lee is okay with troops going after U.S. citizens, though.

One month ago, Trump orders Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate Democrats mentioned in the Epstein emails, but not to look into him. Bondi says that the independent DoJ "will pursue this with urgency".

One month ago, Trump pardons Daniel Wilson for illegal possession of guns. Wilson was banned from having guns because of several earlier felonies, but the FBI found them while looking into him for Januarty 6th. Trump pardoned Wilson once for January 6th, and now for the gun possession.

Six months ago, Trump throws himself a military parade in Washington, D.C. He claims it is also to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Army. Soldiers do not march but just wander down the parade route in front of creaky tanks. Trump seems to fall asleep.

Nine months ago, Democrats cave on a bill which lets Republicans freeze the local D.C. budget, but the "deal" is that the Senate gets to vote on the D.C. budget separately. Before the deal, the House says it won't take any bill the Senate passes. The Democrat still cave and get nothing in return.

Three months ago, a full 15 judge panel of the 4th Circuit criticized the Supreme Court in open court for issuing proclamations with no explanation instead of actual rulings. The court has members appointed by every president going back to Reagan.
