Only one week ago, media in Colombia reports that the U.S. military strike on September 15th was on a Colombian fishing boat in Colombian waters. The boat's engine had died and had a distress signal up when it was destroyed.

Only one week ago, more "No Kings" protests against Trump are held across the U.S.. Between 5 and 8 million people go to almost 3,000 events. These are now the largest one-day protests in American history, and the second-largest single-day event after Earth Day 1970.

Two weeks ago, dozens of federal judges, appointed by every President from Trump to Reagan, say that the Supreme Court is burning down the credibility of the courts. The Supreme Court is abusing its power to rule in favor of Trump with no explanations, and tearing up centuries of precedent.

Two weeks ago, airports start showing a video from Homeland Security Secretary Noem blaming Democrats for the government shutdown and slow TSA lines. It is illegal propaganda and a lie. Republicans control the House, Senate, and Presidency, and could end the shutdown with zero Democratic votes.

Two weeks ago, Trump fires everyone at the CDC working on tracking disease outbreaks, finding new outbreaks, and counting the total number of deaths in the country. Without these people a new outbreak of bird flu could kill thousands and spread to millions before anything was done to stop it.

Two weeks ago, a person who knew ahead of time that Trump was going to hit China with more tariffs made almost $200 million on insider crypto trading. They opened new accounts, made trades for a few hours, and closed those accounts hundreds of millions of dollars richer. No one knows who it was.

One month ago, Treasury Secretary Bessent says that we are giving Argentina a $20 billion economic bail-out. Argentine President Milei is a libertarian who is taking apart their government, giving Elon Musk a sparkly chainsaw as a sign of support to do the same here. Milei's economy is crashing.

One month ago, Trump orders the IRS to strip protections from organizations that support immigrants, queer people, and equality, since those causes "financ[e] political violence or domestic terrorism". It also orders the IRS to report those people to the Department of Justice for prosecution.

One month ago, Trump signs an order saying that anyone who is against him is a terrorist. This is not an exaggeration. When Gavin Newsom says that ICE disappearing people is "authoritarian actions by an authoritarian government", Trump staffer Steven Miller says that those words are terrorism.
