When a ball over the top is that precise and the wife player cuts in so effectively, tika-taka and playing out from the back are put into perspective. Ultimately I’d always rather my team had the ball, but that’s because my team seldom play passes like Stones did there.

Every Saturday the same question, especially if I was RD at parkrun because then I leave even earlier to get there (and it’s a 20-mi run)…
…then again, to be fair, I am in bed reading. But that’s just to not interfere with Mrs S’ enjoyment of the dancing tellybox thing.

No danger of Andy Burnham becoming Labour leader.
He’s too popular amongst centrist floating voters. And neither of the “traditional two parties” (sadly, can’t call them main/leading/biggest right now) seem interested in being led by politicians who might hold sway beyond their core voters.
