i hope that maybe with time she will come around but she’s scared of it? i tried to lay down with her like we always do, put the new blanket on top of us, and she was so scared she was like cowering lower so she wouldn’t touch it??? 😭 i washed it even too idk why??? agh. i gave her the old one

i cannot get over that this man followed us not only once but twice.

idk what about me crossing the street TWICE says “oh please continue approaching us we def want to talk!!!”

and if anyone knew anything about dog body language they could tell immediately wednesday was in defense mode but ok💀

i walked wednesday this evening, it’s dark outside, & i saw a man with his little white dog in the distance.

i crossed the street because it’s dark out and wednesday is relatively reactive (we are working on this).

the man and dog crosses the street and stands very close to us. i’m like wtf.

i think, weird he also crossed the street maybe he lives on this side? i cross the street again & he CROSSES THE STREET AGAIN.

he tries to say hi to us. i don’t say anything and just stare him down, angrily. we get away.

it’s DARK! i don’t want to interact with a man & my dog is NOT nice on-leash.

i present to you my all time fav. this one is a little scary/dark too, but has a good lesson in it. the artwork is lovely. i have a copy of it myself.

The Spider and the Fly by Tony Diterlizzi, but based on the cautionary tale by Mary Howitt. Has a big spiderweb on the cover. The cover is black and white. The spider and fly are pretty anthropomorphic. The spider has on a fancy suit with a bow tie and the fly appear to be femme-presenting. She is holding an umbrella/parasol and has a flapper dress on with a little bucket hat.

a lot of dogs nowadays are poorly bred 💀 trust, there is a LOT of dangerous temperament issues right now in dogs, i see it daily at work, & it’s frightening.
