48th Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Laughing since the day we met in 1987…

Happy Thanksgiving!

Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans might not give a damn if the 2 million Pennsylvanians who receive SNAP benefits go hungry, but I sure as hell do.

I refuse to let our parents, children, and seniors go hungry, and that’s why we’re continuing to step up to fill the gap.

Trump’s tariffs are hitting folks hard right now – and Pennsylvanians let me know wherever I go.

People are fed up with higher prices at the grocery store or the coffee shop, and they’re right to be.
November 26, 2025 at 6:00 PM
We just cut taxes for the SEVENTH time with our Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit – and it’s going to send $193 million to 940,000 Pennsylvanians across our Commonwealth.

Whether you’re a student, parent, or senior, we’re putting money back into your pocket.

That’s a big damn deal.
November 26, 2025 at 5:01 PM
Folks across the Commonwealth are seeing higher prices ahead of Thanksgiving this year – and they’re letting me know.

Fred Rogers taught us to always look for the helpers – and they’re all around us here in Pennsylvania.

Just look at the Westmoreland Food Bank. They’ve served the Westmoreland County community for 40 years – distributing 5 million meals last year alone.

Speaker Rep. McClinton and Rep. Mayes are exceptionally professional. They are powerful.

And today, because of their work and unrelenting advocacy, they stood by me as I signed the CROWN Act into law.
November 25, 2025 at 10:15 PM
The CROWN Act is about seeing who people really are.

Because the freedom to be yourself brings us together.

Donald Trump is working overtime to raise prices and make life less affordable… so we’re working overtime to do the opposite.
November 25, 2025 at 7:30 PM
NEW: We're suing the Trump Administration yet again to protect affordable housing.

I just filed a lawsuit to challenge the Trump Administration’s decision to unlawfully cut over $100 million used to provide access to housing for our most vulnerable Pennsylvanians.
November 25, 2025 at 6:50 PM
No matter who you are, where you come from, or how you wear your hair, you deserve the freedom to be who you are — and the opportunity to succeed.
November 25, 2025 at 5:59 PM
Think you may qualify for the NEW Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit? My Administration just launched an online calculator to help you estimate how much money you could get back next year.

We cannot let SEPTA fail.

We're stepping up once again to provide SEPTA with much-needed capital dollars to perform crucial repairs so the system can continue to safely get people where they need to go.

My Administration has used every tool at my disposal to keep mass transit systems afloat:
November 24, 2025 at 11:15 PM
Mass transit drives $5 billion in economic activity every year in Pennsylvania.

That’s billion, with a B.

So hear me when I say: SEPTA is absolutely vital to our Commonwealth’s success and our economic growth.
November 24, 2025 at 8:15 PM
800,000 Pennsylvanians rely on SEPTA every day.

55,000 students ride it to get to school. Major employers depend on it to get their employees to work.
November 24, 2025 at 7:00 PM
BREAKING: I’ve authorized nearly $220 million to be made available to SEPTA – so they can make necessary safety repairs to over 200 Silverliner IV rail cars, upgrade trolley infrastructure, keep riders safe, and continue to deliver reliable, on-time service.

Bye bye. 😉👋

November 23, 2025 at 8:00 PM
This is what public service is all about.

Here in Pennsylvania, we’re committed to supporting our neighbors.

That's why the budget I signed into law last week invests an additional $11 million to help make sure our seniors, kids, and families have enough to eat and can put food on the table.
November 22, 2025 at 8:00 PM
Ensuring people have enough to eat is one of the most important things we can do as leaders.

This budget takes a multipronged approach to combatting food insecurity – including $5 million more for food banks and $4 million for the state food purchase program.
November 21, 2025 at 9:01 PM
940,000 hardworking Pennsylvanians are going to get up to $800 back in their pockets because of our new Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit.

That’s a big damn deal.
November 21, 2025 at 4:30 PM
A budget isn’t just a bunch of numbers on a spreadsheet – it’s a statement of our values and our commitment to our fellow Pennsylvanians.

It’s about investing in the needs of people now and building for the future.

The budget I signed last week is a reflection of that.
November 21, 2025 at 3:00 PM
I want every kid in Pennsylvania to know: I’ve got your back.
November 20, 2025 at 11:45 PM
I’m a proud Democratic Governor with a record of aggressively cutting taxes for families, seniors, and businesses.

We just cut taxes for the seventh time since I took office – and we’re still just getting started.
