Every year, I visit all 72 counties at least once because I want to meet Wisconsinites where they’re at—homes, schools, farms, businesses, hospitals, and everywhere in between. And every day, I learn something new.

I can’t wait to do it again in 2026.
The proof's in the pudding, folks.

The Trump Administration's supposed efforts to “reduce waste, fraud, and abuse" by firing dedicated federal workers ended up spending MORE of your tax dollars and making government LESS efficient. No joke.

Under Trump and DOGE, Wisconsin lost 2.4K federal workers — while spending increased
One year later, the DOGE project failed to reduce federal spending, and workers in Wisconsin say they've had to move on from federal employment or find ways to continue their work under challenging co...

Donald Trump promised to lower costs for Americans on Day 1.

A year later, families can tell you that is just not happening.

ICYMI: We've got $125 million set aside to help combat PFAS and ensure every Wisconsinite has the clean drinking water they deserve, and I am hopeful that we are close to reaching a bipartisan deal to get these funds out the door once and for all.

From cutting property taxes for Wisconsin homeowners and investing in our kids and schools to ensuring clean, safe drinking water and supporting our veterans, we've got a heckuva lot of work to do, so let's work together to get it done.

On the 53rd anniversary of the landmark decision in Roe v. Wade, the fight continues to ensure Wisconsinites have the freedom to make their own reproductive healthcare decisions without interference from politicians who know nothing about their life, health, or circumstances.

ICYMI: The state is expected to see a $2.5 billion surplus. That's great news for my plans to lower costs and cut property taxes for Wisconsin homeowners, invest in our kids and schools, support veterans and farmers, and bolster resources for crime victims and survivors.

Wisconsin’s farmers and producers know firsthand the true value of clean water and soil. That's why we're glad to award $1 million to support producer-led watershed protection efforts statewide.

Here’s the truth: working families, farmers, and seniors are paying a price for President Trump’s reckless trade wars and on-again, off-again tariff taxes. We sure aren’t better off than we were a year ago.

Donald Trump promised lower prices on day one. Instead, his inflationary policies just supercharged grocery price increases.

Trump says “affordability is a hoax,” but Americans are seeing the truth at the checkout counter.

I'm proud we made the first meaningful investment to fight PFAS statewide, but for years, those funds have sat in Madison unspent.

After months of bipartisan negotiations—and though there’s more work to do—I'm hopeful we're close to a final, bipartisan PFAS deal. My statement ⬇️

Costs are up, healthcare enrollment is down, and every day, it seems we file a new lawsuit to fight the constant chaotic and downright illegal actions of the Trump Administration.

Wisconsinites aren't any better off today than they were 365 days ago. I'm positive about that.

Child care is critical for families, communities, and economies to thrive.

It was great to join Madison College to celebrate the grand opening of the new Early Learning Campus, which my Administration was proud to support to expand access to quality care for our kids.

Paychecks aren't going as far as they used to, especially with President Trump's reckless trade wars and on-again, off-again tariff taxes.

I'm urging the Legislature to join me in commonsense solutions to lower out-of-pocket costs for working families and seniors.

Wisconsinites have increasingly had to raise their own property taxes to keep their local schools open. That’s not new—it was happening long before I became governor.

We need lawmakers to stop squabbling over who's to blame and start doing something about it. Let's get it done.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This day serves as an anchor, grounding us and reminding us of what we are capable of when we work together and focus on unity, rather than division, as we build a brighter future, together.

BIG WIN! After intense public pressure, including a letter I signed with more than 100 members of Congress, $2 billion for mental health and addiction treatment grants have been RESTORED.
Last night, the Trump administration took a chainsaw to billions of $$$ in mental health and addiction treatment grants that were already approved by Congress.

I led 100 members in a bipartisan letter demanding this lifesaving funding be restored immediately.

For generations, the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program has received bipartisan support, a reflection of the two state leaders for whom it was named.
