November is the peak month for wintering Woodcock arrivals.

Our second event of the week is a field trip to Port Eynon on Saturday 18th October, meeting at Port Eynon Salthouse at 14:30. This is a good site for small waders, gulls, terns, and seabirds. Full details at the link below:

We have a field trip to Rhossili coming up on Saturday 20th September, meeting at the National Trust Car Park at 08:00am. This is a good area for migrants such as Whinchat and Yellow Wagtails as well as rarer species.
