The United States has an obligation to abide by customary international law and international treaties (including the UN Charter) that the U.S. signed and ratified. By ratifying the treaties, the treaty laws also become part of U.S. domestic law.

The military is well aware of what an illegal order is. If they are not familiar with what defending America against enemies foreign and domestic means, they all need to be chaptered out. This is not about a convicted felon president anymore.
