Despite widespread objections, Malaysia Agriculture and Food Security Ministry continues to push for the country to accede to UPOV 1991. Malaysia Food Sovereignty Forum lay out how this will result in higher seed prices and systematicly erode rights of farmers.

Hearing disturbing news from #Thailand, where HRD Witoon Lianchamroon was recently indicted. I fear the baseless charges against him are a reprisal for his work on community rights and food security, and I’ll be closely following his first hearing on 22 October.
