Definitely Evening Primrose
I grow it and use it ; it’s medicinal and all parts of the plant are edible, even the roots. I add flowers to salads, stir fry leaves, etc

She’s been here all morning, & found one of my Pipevine- their sole host plant
I wonder if this is one that I raised and released, coming back to lay her eggs where she herself began last spring as an egg on the underside of a leaf

sitting at my pond and saw this! I’ve never seen this before. Damselflies, looks to be a male (bright blue) carrying female by head
He’s flying her around and she’s depositing eggs! I’m watching her ovipositor drop them
I watched them for over 30 minutes, very cool! #pondlife
