I have just been informed by my most trusted visier that multislot means “more than one character in the image”, not “more than one person can commission the piece”.

100% this! I might primarily draw for my own greedy wants, but ultimately I am a social creature looking to bring joy to those around me. If you were worthless, I wouldn't be excitedly showing you my art with a big dumb grin on my face. Your joy and approval mean so much!
If you exist inside a creator safe spaces you contribute to a positive presence. Even if you're not actively partaking in creating, you help someone else to. Don't ever feel undervalued or unseen, someone out there is rendering videos, drawing lines or putting words to paper hoping you'll enjoy it.
