Welcome new followers. For those who are interested, I'm Grant. I used to write about video games in the 90s. I started just before the internet became a thing. In the days when we got all our hype, news and reviews from the games magazines.

Thanks. Yeah I got a Protea prime blueprint the other day. I do have random other prime parts from running relic missions. So I might do that, yeah.

I am trying to level other weapons to get my MR up as well. It's slow going though.

I hit a bit of a soft wall in Warframe, in terms of damage, at least until I get my MR up to 9. Or farm better mods.

I tried Trepang 2 and lasted about 30 mins. Didn't like it. An FPS with no ADS. I get why they did it but it didn't vibe with me.

So..RE4 Remake, second playthrough. You're up.

Well, it turns out I should be getting some money back from being mis-sold a car loan about 12 years ago. So that's good.

Might just use the money to help build a new PC. Assuming it's a decent wedge.

Most people wouldn't think that one game being good automatically good or successful then invalidates every other game in the genre? Would they?

Mind you: this is the internet so there probably are strange people who think that.

I just want good RPGS, no matter where they come from.

The media will do it anyway. You know, like when they said that everyone LOVES CRPGs now because Baldur's Gate 3 did well. And the industry said..we're not making that because it's an "exception"..plus: reasons.

Also, Phil Fish is an asshole.

Yeah theres a lot of systems in the game and as a new player it's difficult to know what is important without help. Especially as you get to the higher end content. You see these creators post videos where they're nuking entire rooms and you think: how the hell do they do that?! And how can I do it!

Thanks. Yeah I think I've sanctuary onslaught before so I'll give that a try.

It does seem much harder in the 30+ missions. I just did a Sabotage one but I died a few times.

Yeah Corrosive Projection sounds useful.

I'm struggling currently in the 30+ missions so maybe I'll just try levelling weapons and frames in the easier missions for now.

Yeah that is the problem. I don't have the better mods and I'm not sure if I need to trade for them. Or what they are for that matter.

I see. That's helpful, thanks. I am doing Syndicate missions as well as Nightwave and other Faction reps like Cetus/PoE stuff. I will explore other rep. bounties as well.

I changed my build for Volt after watching a build guide video. Do you think this is ok?

Offline games ftw!

Yeah I've never played a game of Fortnite or Roblox in my life. Somehow, I don't feel like I'm missing out.

Yeah I did realise that the Acceltra felt good when using it in a Disruption mission. At least until I ran out of ammo and I was standing there trying to fire my empty gun while getting eaten alive by enemies 😅

Suffice to say, I had to abandon the mission as I died too much.

I don't have a lot of weapons unlocked. I'm MR8 atm and a lot of them require farming rep and that's the bit I'm confused on. I don't know what REP to farm for which weapon. Or which weapon is actually worth it.

I could just use the wiki I suppose 😅

I prefer fast firing rifles. I just got the Acceltra which seems quite good.

I did read about the damage combinations you could do with different elements, so that's helpful. I'll also look at the other mods you suggested. So thanks for that.

Thank you. Yes it does help as this is mainly what I've been doing. I'm trying to level frames and weapons to get my mastery rank up at the moment.

I'm mostly doing story quests. Just struggling a bit with the harder star map content.

Survivability is my biggest issue at the moment, actually. That and where to farm the better gear, so any tips would be useful and appreciated 👍
