Why the rush? No time to hear from any candidate. Seems like a stich-up.

Need a person who connects with the people, doesn't support drift to the right; supports redistribution, curbs on power of rich/corporations.

Despite damning evidence the govt clinging on to private ownership of water in England; people fleeced for 36 years.

Prospect is sewage dumping, health hazards, lack of investment, higher domestic/business costs, tax dodges, asset-stripping.

Public ownership is the only way out.
Nationalisation is the only way to fix the crisis in the water industry
