Finished Titus Andronicus for my Shakespeare in a Year plan (I fell a bit behind) and it is remarkable how the same man who wrote the nuanced, tragic depiction of Othello is the same man who wrote Aaron, who doesn't have traits beyond "I am a Moor and love murder and rape"

I really do think ushers should get guns. Had to tell three guys behind me to shut up, there was someone in my row using his phone to illuminate a notebook during the film. People are unable to behave in public anymore

Congressional Republicans are going to deprive D.C. of $700 million in revenue and repeal a local program projected to reduce child poverty by 20 percent, solely to spite District residents and make us suffer. They’re also throwing our tax filing into utter chaos. This is a disaster.
