Congressional Republicans are going to deprive D.C. of $700 million in revenue and repeal a local program projected to reduce child poverty by 20 percent, solely to spite District residents and make us suffer. They’re also throwing our tax filing into utter chaos. This is a disaster.

It's really good I think how sports keeps expanding and getting bigger - women's sports are finally getting a lot of attention and money, things like volleyball are becoming more popular - but I wonder sometimes if it's sustainable

Imagine a combination of Weimar Germany (humiliating peace treaty inflicted by a historic enemy, far-right agitating to unite with a nearby culturally linked province) and Restoration France (a somewhat moderate king who has to deal with royalists more royalist than him)

Boran Satery (my player character) is formally banned from serving in the Chamber of Deputies due to the anti-socialist laws of the regime. I plan to use this once the game starts to try and force a split between more liberal elements of the regime and the conservatives/ultras
Small wikibox I made for a party I'm leading in a little game I'm playing with some friends. The Sigrian Socialist Labor Party and other socialist parties are banned after the crushing of the Abylo and Ephardy Communes, so they create a front group that's definitely not socialist

The Greens were dealt a hard blow when the July Coup's leadership, after reaching a humiliating peace with Arzawa and deposing the old king, still banned socialist parties as traitors to Sigria. Factional infighting and the decline of the maritime industries that previously had militant unions

The Sigrian socialist tradition is fatally compromised by the split between the Blues, the more radical socialists who supported the Communes so that they could support the invasion from their Arzawan comrades, and the Greens who stayed loyal to the monarchy and Sigria in the war
