IMAX 70mm film screening of Interstellar in row 2

Seeing the original 70mm print of Interstellar in IMAX later today and the only seats left were the second row from the front. Goodbye retinas! 🤩

Dune: Prophecy ep.1 thoughts— too early to comment on the story but my pervasive annoyance throughout: in 10,000+ years, this much is still the same? Architectural + clothing styles, Bene Gesserit garb, still suits, shield technology, thumpers, etc etc. ?? Seems just like..a fundamental oversight.

Saw a city bus stuck in the snow horizontal across the street today, with two RCMP cars stopped, lights on, and the cops out trying to shovel the bus out. Most Canadian thing I’ve seen in a bit for sure.

I have 0 bias for or against Wicked BUT I have not forgotten when In the Heights came out to rave reviews only for it to be…okay! So I’m keeping my expectations in check this time around.

First snowfall of the year where I live in Canada…time to watch the Green Knight again!
