Oh my god I had a similar experience, I think the reason it went different is because we were ALL nerds. My D&D character had a deck of illusions and Seto Kaiba's art 😂
He uh
tried to subdue a white dragon, it went poorly.

It can be pretty tough finding the right place, definitely. The way I always thought about it was just realizing what I was doing wasn't really helping me. It's like a rollercoaster!

sometimes it's just doing something new, or fun, around other people and you find someone that shares a hobby, and then you start confiding. It's a slow process, definitely

It's actually how I met my spouse! Our characters really hit it off and we just started talking to each other outside of sessions. Now it's been 4 years ❤️
