Frowns down at her bowl of stew that Barret had flung his dirty sock in by accident for a moment then makes a face, before setting it aside.

"Well, looks like I won't be eating dinner tonight..."

A smile, radiant like the sun spread over her lips upon hearing the sincerity of Cloud's next words.

Bringing a closed hand to her mouth, Aerith momentarily closed her eyes and laughed.

"Soooo serious!"

Chestnut brows drew down as pink lips lifted together in a mischievous grin as the slender florist propped her fists up against her hips in amusement.

Then, she leaned forward abruptly, twirling her finger in his direction. "So you say, but I happen to know for a fact that you're exactly like—

"It's already paid for, silly!" She told him with a giggle, tossing him the frilly, pink, yellow and white dress—complete with a fancy sunhat.

Then spinning around on her heel, she waited for him to get changed.

"But of course you're SOOOOO cool!" Aerith smirked, taking the opportunity to tease him further.

Folding her arms over her chest, the florist adopted a playful scowl, imitating her bodyguard. "I'm Cloud Strife. I don't need anyone or anything—Look at my big sword!"

// Ah. No, it's cool. Just low energy and I'm out of energy drinks (and most food until Tuesday—which is coincidentally, my birthday). Plus, I went to block that Aerith on the bird, and got depressed again. So, I ended up pulling a Vincent and sleeping all day.

Holds out a small, adorable cake shaped like a lion. "Happy birthday, Squall!" Aerith chirped with a bright grin, her emerald hues dancing with the same radiant light as the colorful candles on his birthday cake.

It was a shame, really... Her flowers were one of a kind. They only grew here.
