🐸🌻 🍅 Thankfully, more + more allotment gardeners are choosing to garden without using pesticides or herbicides. We agree with them. Allotment sites are for the future, not just the present. Prof Goulson's evidence sums up exactly why pesticides have no place on Allotment sites (or anywhere else) 🦔🍓🐝

Our model of allotment provision protects Allotment Site Land from development.

At Green Allotments, we don't do huge 'mega sites'.
We want our allotment sites to be part of the community, to fit in, and enhance the local area. 🤲 🤲🏽 🤲🏻

🐸🌻 🍅 This is community-led management of local green spaces.
To 'give something back' we do not charge land rent to the allotment society.
Plot rent paid to the society by each plotholder on the allotment site can be reinvested back into the allotment site.

We need more #Allotments right now, in place, ready for now and for our future generations. We buy land for new allotment sites, because we know that they are needed not just for the 1000s of people on allotment waiting lists, but for the people who are to come, who will also want to grow their own
