Late afternoon dog walk today, Mynydd Troed with an interesting sky.
Back from the morning dog walk. It's really wet, muddy & slippery so I found a stout stick to help me keep my balance. Pan the collie had other ideas, snatched it out of my hand & threw it in the hedge, as if saying 'I'm the Branch Manager, I'm the only one allowed to carry sticks.' 🤣

I came across this photo I took about 15 yrs ago when I lived at the top of the hill rather than in the valley. It was such a cold winter! I love this pic, so atmospheric.

The red kites here like to have a final soar over the village before their bedtime. They are lovely creatures. When we came to Wales in the 1980s there were only a few breeding pairs in Rhandirmwyn, some 30 miles from here. Have they got to where you live yet?

Long dog walk on a misty but relatively dry morning today took us up the hill towards Y Mynyddoedd Duon/The Black Mountains. Or one of them, known as Y Das.
