Every single person I talk to agrees it has been A WEEK. Let's just call it over, shall we?

Been using the new Xcode for the past day - love the native agentic coding and improved context on iOS best practices, but running into lots of crashes.

How does Idris Elba end up on so many vehicles that get hijacked?

Friends and I agree - if I were a much meaner gay, I could run a very popular account about bad dates I've had.

Not looking for a pile-on, but I'm curious what everyone loves so much about Heated Rivalry? I liked it, but am surprised at the fervor.

If you’ve obviously rewritten your resume with AI to get past the automated screening, I’m so much less likely to trust a single word on it and probably won’t interview you. 🤷‍♂️

Been under the weather and watching a lot of TV… Celebrity Traitors UK and Ponies are both in my rotation right now.

Blue Lights on Britbox queued up next, along with the New Yorker documentary.

What's keeping your attention lately?

I tried Claude Cowork this morning and it was great. This is what I want computers to do. Don't help me be creative - that's what being human is about.

Take my old financial/tax files, organize them and give them understandable file names.

Bilt was almost always going to end up this way. Rent rewards were a loss leader for them; they assumed card spend would offset that.

It's been reported for years they made incorrect financial assumptions, which is why Wells Fargo has been desperate to exit that deal.

My longtime therapist started a sentence yesterday with "from what I know, you're a very popular guy."

Which is funny, because like a lot of gay men I think of myself as an outsider and unpopular.

Your favorite dad got dressed up and went to the opera.

What I find empowering about Cursor and Claude Code is not that "anyone can build a production app," because it's not quite that simple.

But a product manager with a rough understanding of how software works CAN.

This morning's workout was pure struggle. Gotta get back into a better routine.

The "magic link" login pattern is one of the least friendly user experience in widespread practice today.

We've gotta revolt against this.

Paid $130 for Robokiller to stop the dozen spam calls I get every day. Works great, but it's crazy that phone companies haven't stopped this practice.

When French people are smoking it's sexy. When everyone else is smoking it's gross. Sorry I don't make the rules!

Reunited with my favorite gal.

My stack of New Yorkers is so high that I will soon be classified as a hoarder.

This is the type of quality slip that used to be unthinkable at Apple, but is now sadly normal.

3 unknown calls, notification won't go away, no way to clear it. This bug will be here for many months, at least.

All I've been doing is building lately and it feels great. Built an MCP server today, re-released both my apps in the past few weeks, have so many ideas that can now become reality with agentic coders.
