So today was community art day in a stream I hang around, theme was "The last game you played"

It obviously had to be this one. I'm at the very end with 100% completion, but haven't won the final fight yet.

Gauntlets, too many adds and 2 mask damage aside, I've loved it. Huge improvement over HK

Just a doodle, but I liked how clean it looked like to me.

On another note, I feel the itch to animate again. I doodle from time to time but a still image doesn't feel like it fulfills the urge I have to make some specific but vague idea take form.

Drawing from a magma #art board, I feel like I'm slowly getting out of my slump.

I'm trying out different armor/outfit ideas, seeing what meshes well with my #OC. Locking in certain details that I like, discarding what I don't.

I want to narrow it down to the look that I prefer the most.

Chain mail.... My hand, it hurts..

From a magma board. I've been playing Dark Souls 2 again and I love the look of Creighton's set. So this armor is vaguely based on it.

The chain mail was a pain, but the black base + carve with eraser trick made it a bit more fun

Why should I write better when a machine can do it for me?
Because actually no one can do it for you, because your voice is unique among all the people on earth. Siri never petted a horse's neck. Alexa has never been ghosted by the captain of the football team. But you have lived, your heart is beating, you have suffered, and you have something important to say. It's a human's job, to use words, and whatever job you give to a machine, that part of your brain goes dark. Maybe it's worth it when it comes to remembering phone numbers and directions, but when that part of your brain that uses words goes dark, that's a vast area that's very close to your soul. Don't let some internet platform convince you that what you have to say and create isn't worthwhile. Words are the echo of your soul. Honing that echo matters.

Every now and then the question of favorite movies comes up and I always think of the first Pokemon movie. There's some more recent contenders like the Spiderverses and Puss in Boots: the Last Wish, but I still end up choosing this one.

The intro scene alone is seared into my memory and left a mark

The short answer is that I want to make what I want to see and no one else just happens to be making it. People make similar things, but not the thing I want to see. I have to make it myself.

Problem is that it's very vague, like I'll know it when I see it, but I can't see it before I make it...
