he got me through the worst times of my life, whatever i went through i knew i had him to look forward to. he was my little buddy, my son. he was the light and joy in my life. he was my only comfort i had at home

i feel like i failed him, i should have acted sooner. and i'll hold this guilt forever

he was incredibly clingy, would always climb up my leg to cuddle, and would sleep on my pillow. he loved giving kisses, he'd get sad if i denied them. he had his own side of my bed, and as he got older he'd sleep like a human, using a pillow under his little head

for the first 4 months of his life i thought he was a girl, calling him bučka until i randomly checked one day and went Oh shit, that's a boy. his name means little pumpkin, because he was so small and round, he was the smallest of his siblings

on the 14th of august, 4 years ago, buček was born during a dungeon run of Dohn Mehg in ffxiv. i will never forget that day, because we had a poor random in the party, who had to read the words "i'm sorry i have to leave group my cat is giving birth"

today i lost my baby boy
he got sick over the weekend, we were supposed to go to the vet today, but it was too late

i want to remember him as the little sunshine he was, i hope he knew he was deeply loved always

i will mourn you for the rest of my life and beyond, my little buček
