Did you know that many English colonies in the Caribbean have their coins minted in Canada?

Just for an example. And while you certainly can't drive to the Bahamas, you can 100% go to an RBC branch there.

Today's flight was scheduled for perfect weather! If only the 50 hour inspection wasn't. Oh well.

So I practiced the same procedures in the sim with a flight from Pitt Meadows to Squamish!

I always love these diagrams of space things. They're so wildly out of scale that it shows something that's not even real.

At this scale, the Earth would be roughly the size of 1 pixel. Maybe 4 if you're lucky. The Taurid meteors should be microscopic, and are difficult for pro astronomers to find

Considering that news media 'came for the journalists' quite a few years ago and most of them spend 10 or 15 minutes regurgitating a press release before banging out the next article so they *maybe* might be able to make a living at it...

I also started my IRL ground school about two weeks ago. Zooming through the lessons that I've been over a dozen times, then once more with my flight instructor, so it's all re-review. I'll be shocked if I don't nail the written exam.

So, for the past I-don't-know-how-long, my VR headset wasn't connecting to my PC properly and I wasn't simming. It's been a few weeks.

Anyway, I figured out the problem, and things are back again. I did some basic manoevers around Pitt Meadows, one touch and go, and landed.

It was never there. Ask any editor of a print newspaper that was in operation in the 1980s. They didn't publish every letter to the editor for good reason.

Now, that's on display as everyone gets to broadcast their every thought without restriction.
