A lot of ppl are saying "use Linux!" On one hand I agree. on the other hand, I walked my youngest sibling through enabling secure boot and tpm and now his computer is all ready for Windows 11. But it also depends on how old your system is (seeing what your account is about, you probably know that)

Luckily I won't be alone technically, I have a good friend who lives with us, I feel like that would be even worse if I had all this house to myself and the dogs. I also have a pretty awesome friend group who's here to make sure I keep my head up.

Kiddo lives with my ex. He will come visit sometimes, but with no car it'll be whenever they can bring him to me. So it'll be a bit boring.
