Released on 2-21-20, “Expectations” is Katie Pruitt’s debut album, a beautifully deep & personal journey through self-conflict & discovery, acceptance, humility, and a strengthening of character and soul. A truly underrated work of art by an extremely talented songstress, worthy of soaking in 🤘🏼

One of 1991’s most memorable releases, “Nevermind” was released upon the masses on 9-24-91, and wasted no time in establishing Nirvana as a leading pioneer of the Grunge genre, where they unwittingly spoke for a generation of rebellious youth needing to hear this music and its words, at that moment.

An 80’s metal masterpiece, this somewhat obscure classic remains an absolute favorite of mine. “The Unknown” was released in 1984 by the horribly underrated Swedish metal band, Gotham City. A very worthy inclusion in any Metal head’s collection. 🤘🏼 #80smetalmusic, #GothamCity

On this day, November 28th, 1978, the Blues Brothers released their debut album, “Briefcase Full of Blues”, which hit #1 and went on to become one of the best selling Blues albums of all-time. Not too shabby for a couple of legendary comedians who proved to be a little bit more than that. #Blues 🤘🏼

What invokes the most emotional connection for you, when it comes to listening to and enjoying music? So many, myself included, only reach that highest peak of enjoyment when listening to a vinyl record. There’s nothing quite like the EXPERIENCE of playing music. Does the same apply in YOUR life?

10/16/90 marked the release of The Rhythm Of The Saints, arguably Paul Simon’s finest work, and that’s saying a lot. The flawless infusion of South African music, combined with some of Paul’s best songwriting throughout this masterpiece, resulted in what can only be described as timeless magic!

New York-based Danger Danger released their classic debut self-titled album on June 27th, 1989. My personal favorite Glam & Hair Metal album of all-time, and one that stands the test of time to this day. Ted Poley, Andy Timmons & company struck gold with this one🤘🏼 #Hairmetal #DangerDanger
