A bit of 🏃 around the Clent. Love to walk the hills and mountains. Often using bins and a scope. No camera, so all bad photos through a scope.

Thanks Mike. I hadn’t seen them reported. I’m trying Bredon Hill for ouzels today, so may give Croome a try.

Hi Mike, are the Glossy Ibis still at Croome?

White Wagtail. I saw one at Middleton Lakes last week.

Similar to me this morning in between deluges. Are the Wigeon new in? Can’t recall seeing them since spring.

I think the problem stems from it being “universal”. Newpro don’t recommend the lollipop for iPhones or Samsung. I use a PhoneSkope case for my iPhone and the ATX adapter. Very tight fit and decent results. I wear glasses, so take the adapter off the scope but you can leave them on the eyepiece.

3000 at Frankley! That’s a town!

They’d disappeared when I returned around yesterday. I wonder if they’d gone to canal pool? I can’t see over the reeds to view that area.

It dropped back into the reeds, so it’s still in the same area.

we did say hi. No hobby but I was here Wednesday and one was around then.
groughgruff.bsky.social
I know. I passed you. You were walking across the top causeway when it flew.

Bittern just flew out of the reeds at Grimley CLP. #worcsbirds

I was there last week and apart from a family party of Green Woodpeckers, I didn’t see anything of interest from the road arch to the weir. Not even butterflies. Every year that I go to see the Nightingales, I think due to lack of management, this could be the last year.

No water here until at least 12, so I may give it a go.

Bloody annoying as I was going to try Grimley on the way down.
