I've got a big fucking problem. For the last 10 months I've read through all Garashir fics that are of interest to me (filtered out no gos).

Hope you will have a referral and some answers soon and hopefully support from a trained professional too.

I've been working with a new therapist for over a year now and it really makes a difference in managing anxiety, stress, sensory problems etc.

Maybe others will also adjust over time &with new information coming to light, in this case getting diagnosed. Sometimes people do better with "this is officially how I function, complete with doctors signature" (it's weird but I did experience that - opposed to just telling them how I operate).

Interacting with others is certainly the hardest thing ever. And I'm still bad at it, but getting diagnosed and realising things has definitely helped.

People who only tell you that you're the problem and need to change are often not the ones to keep around though, asd or not. 🙁

I've gotten officially diagnosed very late/not super long ago and it was definitely hard to look back and realise just how much support I would have needed and deserved that I didn't get.
There's way more to it, but that hit the hardest in the beginning.
