Like here, I can make the full stroke of a shape on the temp layer, then erase the parts that need cleanup before committing it all to the ink layer.
For simplicity I set up CTRL+SHIFT+E as my shortcut for "Transfer To Lower Layer".

It used to be a hassle every time I needed to make a new temp ink layer for doing challenging strokes. Now I'm just drawing on the temp layer and transferring down as I go to "commit" the strokes. And for special cases I already have the temp layer, and can adjust the "committed" inks as needed.

I've specifically adapted the part with doing new inks on a temporary layer, then hitting "Transfer to Lower Layer" once I want them to settle on the main Ink layer.
Since both layers are monochrome, the transfer reverts the ink colors to black. #Clipstudiopaint

Yo same. I've also halted posting for the longest time before I got access to webglaze, which added another hurdle to the posting process.
It's also all or everything; right now I'm trinkling through a backlog of unposted works (mainly artfight) and it's torture to not post it all at once.
